Activities in the Northern Territory

Northern Territory Library will be celebrating Library Week with two displays:
a law display with the theme, Law and Peace and a display exploring the history of information, From Hieroglyphics to Hypertext. We will also be offering training on a variety of databases. Darwin Public Libraries and Information Services ALW activities
  • Every day of Library week, a bunch of flowers will be presented to a lucky patron at each branch. The time of the presentations will vary.
  • There will be a colouring competition at each branch with a book prize given at the end of library week.
  • A guessing competition conducted at each branch to guess how many lollies are in a jar. The prize -- the jar of lollies.
  • A library quiz will be held at each branch.
