LIW web-based images

Instructions for use

Choose the logo you wish to use by right-clicking to save the image as a gif (or hold down the mouse-click, if using a Macintosh) and save it to an appropriate location.
Copy the html text alongside and paste it into your webpage directly (the intended result is for the image to be a clickable link to the ALIAnet Library and Information Week pages)
Let Ivan Trundle at ALIAnet know that you have used the image, and he can return the favour by linking from the main LIW page to your site and image location.
If you do not wish to copy the image across to your site, but still wish to use it, alter the reference to "liwxx.gif" [where "xx" is the image number] to "http://alia.org.au/advocacy/alw/web.images/liwxx.gif" [where "xx" is the image number].

This image is more suitable for a small unobtrusive link on a page not predominantly focussing on Library and Information Week. Image size: 75 pixels x 20 pixels, 399 bytes. Use the following html markup for this image:

This image is small enough to be a useful link yet not too big to load (less than 1Kb). But remember, a larger image would grab more attention! Image size: 113 pixels x 30 pixels, 745 bytes. Use the following html markup for this image:

This image getting to be a size that has more impact, yet it is still less than 1.2Kb in size (yes, that small!). A decent-sized banner would need to be larger still... Image size: 150 pixels x 40 pixels, 1,123 bytes. Use the following html markup for this image:

Now we are seeing an impact - and at only 1.8Kb! This is the logo to use if you want to make maximum use of this logotype. Image size: 225 pixels x 60 pixels, 1,835 bytes. Use the following html markup for this image:

Can't miss this one - and at a tiny 4Kb in size! This logo is perfect as a main page banner, and has enough room around it to be useful. You will see plenty of these around and about. Image size: 450 pixels x 120 pixels, 4,050 bytes. Use the following html markup for this image:
