LOCAL STUDIES LIBRARIAN

Salary from $1,383 per week (pro-rata) plus superannuation

We are looking for an experienced person with a passion for everything ‘local’ to join the Local Studies team. The team is responsible for building and maintaining the valuable Local Studies collection, using available technologies to maximise access to the collection and working together to deliver excellent customer service. We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic person to work collaboratively with staff and engage with the community to develop collections and services; and deliver programs that promote the Local Studies collection. You will also be expected to work across any of the libraries’ customer service points.
This is a part-time position working 14 hours per week and will include day, evening and weekend shifts as rostered.
Please note that under Part 2, Section 6 of the Child Protection (Working with Children) Act 2012, this position has been designated as requiring a paid NSW Working with Children Check.
