- $76,280 to $82,547 p.a. (plus 17% superannuation)
The Librarian, Information Services provides advanced, high level information and library services to support the University’s learning, teaching, and research strategies. This role will have responsibilities providing tailored support to academic staff, research staff and students.
The Librarian, Information Services may be required to take on additional responsibilities or rotate through roles within the Section as commensurate with their classification level.
To be successful you will have:
- A relevant degree and eligibility for Associate membership of the Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA);
- Demonstrated Librarian experience including using online information resources, desktop applications, social media tools;
- Capacity to learn new applications and embrace emerging technologies; AND
- Experience in developing, delivering, and evaluating advanced information literacy or research support training, preferably in an academic environment.

This includes responsibility for the University’s course profile and, with Academic Senate, course and learning and teaching quality. The Provost and Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) is also a member of the Vice-Chancellors Leadership Team.
