About the role
The Research Data Lead plays a key role in the management of research data within the University, working closely with Library staff, Research Services, Information Technology Directorate, Faculties and Research Centres, academic staff and postgraduate researchers. This role is responsible for leading the development of engagement, outreach, training and support services aligned with the requirements of the Australian Code for the Responsible Conduct of Research and research funding agencies and UNE policies for data management planning, research data storage and accessibility.
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated knowledge of current technologies and standards in research data management, high level analytical and problem solving skills and excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
