The Library Academic Outreach & Engagement section proactively connects and engages with academics and researchers to develop innovative library learning, teaching and research programs to enable the Library and University’s vision and strategies. The section delivers services in line with a range of Library Frameworks, which are aligned with the University strategies.

About the position

As the Senior Manager, Academic Outreach and Engagement, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of library learning and research services and programs. You be a forward thinking and action-oriented senior manager, who will drive the future direction of library curricular programs and  researcher services, to increase impact and align with the changing needs of the University community.

Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role you will have demonstrated experience in program and service development through pro-active engagement and collaboration with academics and researchers.  Your strong leadership skills will be important, as will your experience in initiating new developments that advocate and advance library academic and research services. You will have proven ability to identify opportunities which create value for the University and use a high level of theoretical and applied knowledge.
