RIMPA ACT’s June Social and networking event. 
 
Join the RIMPA ACT Branch Council and celebrate the shortest day of the year and the chance to network with new and old friends in the industry in a relaxed setting.
 
Drinks and nibbles, There is no cost but you will need to 'buy your own' food and drink.
 
All are welcome: students, new professionals, mid and late career.

ALIA Rare Books and Special Collections/SLNSW Evening Talk

Monday 11 February 2019  5.30pm for 6pm

SLNSW and ALIA RBSC will present four short presentations featuring online projects dedicated to Rare Books and Special Collections. This event coincides with ALIA Online but you do not have to be registered for the conference to register for this event. 

This is an ALIA Rare Books and Special Collections Australia partner event with the State Library of New South Wales.

Think Global, Act Local: SDG Symposium for the GLAM Sector - Newcastle Regional Library and ALIA

Newcastle Region Library, in partnership with ALIA, presents Think Global, Act Local: SDG Symposium for the GLAM Sector. This is an excellent opportunity to discuss, plan and workshop how the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are relevant to our industry and how local collective actions can support an international movement.

NSW Leadership & Innovation Forum

ALIA invites you to the 2018 Leadership and Innovation Forum NSW event. Organised in collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney, this event is intended to connect ALIA Members with leaders and influences in the library and GLAMR sector.

The theme for this year's event is "Meaningful and respectful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge, culture and heritage - what more do we need to do".

Join us on Thursday 13 September, 6 to 9 pm at UTS City Campus for an evening of networking and knowledge sharing!

Joint Association Event: Tour of the Wellington Centre - a new cultural hub in Sale

REGIONAL EVENT

Wellington Shire Council in conjunction with the Australian Society of Archivists Victorian Branch, Australian Library and Information Association, and Museums Australia (Victoria) invite you to hear from speakers from the newly launched Wellington Centre, opened in January this year, and a tour of the Sale Public Library, Gippsland Art Gallery, Wellington Visitor Information Centre, and Council Chambers.
