Statement of professional concernsThe key to the future of ALIA is our core values. We need to build bridges with other information players, such as the internet industry - putting the I into ALIA - and must be confident in these values. Innovation is also very important - being agile in the changing information world. Other issues? I am closely involved in copyright issues, and I am very interested in library education and training - where will our future workforce come from? Finally, ALIA is a company, and I bring solid experience on the boards of three companies - CAVAL, NetAlert and the Australian Digital Alliance.
