The newsletter of the ALIA SA Group: September 2003

From the editors

Spring has sprung! And it's been a busy time in South Australia. We've lately seen the 10th Asia Pacific Special Health and Law Librarians Conference, our very own Jackie Williams has been crowned as Library Technician of the Year and preparation for the National Policy Congress is just weeks away so ALIA SA co-convenor Liz Walkley-Hall is hard at work gathering information from members to take to Canberra.

The convenors of the 2003 Regional Symposium are also hard at work preparing a full program and a few treats as well. Don't forget to register! For more information, contact Christine Cother (please remove '.nospam' from address) (Adelaide), ph 08 8302 6810, Catherine Rymill (please remove '.nospam' from address) (Mt Gambier), ph 08 8735 1482 or Kathleen Nugent (please remove '.nospam' from address) (Mt Gambier), ph 08 8724 2874.

Meanwhile, the editorial team has temporarily gone from three to two. Leeanne Kimberley is recovering from a very nasty dose of pneumonia indeed and will be out of action for a while. We wish her a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing her back on the team as soon as she's fit again.

Your editors are keen to know what you think of the new look InterALIA. Please let us know by e-mailing us at wheelerb@adv.newsltd.com.au.nospam (please remove '.nospam' from address).

PS: If you are contributing to InterALIA - firstly, thank you! Secondly, please send your contribution as a Word document with no formatting, using 12pt Arial font. Please don't send contributions as e-mail text, it means we get lots of little <'s that confuse us terribly. Ta!
