InterALIA
The newsletter of the ALIA SA Group: December 2003
From the editors
We wish you a Merry Christmas!
Yes, we do! And as you dash about trying to get everything done at work, at home, and everywhere else, we also send you wishes for a safe and happy festive season, loaded with laughs and featuring at least a little quality downtime.
This December InterALIA is our fifth electronic issue, believe it or not. Benita and I would like especially to thank everyone who has contributed (often on very short notice!) to the newsletter since we took up the reins in August. We'd also like to thank ALIA SA for making us welcome and especially our co-convenors, Liz Walkley Hall and Kate Sinclair, for their time and enthusiasm for InterALIA. We will miss you! We are also missing Leeanne Kimberley, our third editorial musketeer, but we hope she is mending well and can look forward to a much healthier, happier new year.
We are recognising another kind of giving in this issue, as Benita Wheeler talks to some of our colleagues who give of their time and skills towards making the lives of others better. But Christmas is a silly season, and we are no exception. We hope you enjoy a lighter moment or two as you read on.
InterALIA takes a break in January and so will we. E-list matters will be in the hands of Kate Sinclair until the end of February (kate.sinclair@flinders.edu.au) . We will look forward to catching up with everyone for a busy new year.
