Welcome to InterALIA November. Thanks to Kimberley Hargrave for contributing not one but two feature articles for this issue.

I would like to mention on behalf of the ALIA SA committee the hard work of our convenor, Kate Sinclair, secretary Helen Kwaka, co-treasurer's Kimberley Hargrave and Jenny Paradiso, and all other committee members over the past year. Several office bearers took on roles part way through the year as others moved interstate. Liz Walkley-Hall was also a Co-Convenor with Kate, but has had to resign in light of her upcoming maternity leave.

If you know of other people in ALIA or in the library and information field generally who deserve recognition, please feel free to nominate them for an ALIA Star. And then come and celebrate with us at our joint end of year cocktail party on Tues 5 December. Info Science group and Acquisitions group are also holding end of year events - so you have a wealth of choice - or all three!
