ALIA Victoria [aliavic]Facilitates communication and networking among Victorian library and information professionals through formal and informal functions. Aims to be an advocate and representative for ALIA members in Victoria, and encourage links with related professional bodies via joint functions. Activities include events relating to professional issues affecting all special interest areas. Communications primarily via e-list. Leap into Leadership in 2008 The workshop will be led by distinguished Victorian based facilitator Greg Cook, who has conducted leadership training for the State Library of Victoria and various Public Library Services across Victoria.
The workshop is aimed at participants who are new to leadership and wish to develop their leadership style. This is a rare opportunity to learn about leadership with respected industry leaders and a highly qualified facilitator.
