Shaun Tan award for Young Artists

The City of Subiaco is proud to host the annual Shaun Tan award for Young Artists.

The aim of the award is to encourage creativity in the form of two-dimensional works from Perth's school-aged students. Children will be presented with their awards at an evening ceremony on the 23 May. This is an invitation only event.

Town of Vincent Library

The Town of Vincent Library & Writing WA is celebrating Library and Information Week by presenting a morning with John Harman. John has had four major novels and over a dozen non-fiction books published. He has also written scripts for many popular television series, including early episodes of The Bill.

The event will be held at the Town of Vincent Public Library, corner of Vincent and Loftus Street on Wednesday, 23 May 2007 at 10am. Morning tea will be served. For more information please phone 9273 6090.
