ALIA Special Libraries (Vic) [specialvic]ALIA Special Libraries (Vic) is a group which provides opportunities for continuing professional development and networking for people working in, or with an interest in, special libraries and related fields. VIC SPECIALS EVENT #1 - The Australian Institute of Management LibraryYou are invited to the first event for 2010 on Wednesday February 24th, 5.30 for 6.00p.m. at The Australian Institute of Management Library. The address is Ground Floor, 181 Fitzroy Street (Management House), St Kilda 3182, ph: 9536 3235. Our location on Fitzroy Street is between Princes Street and St Kilda Junction opposite the Albert Park Oval. (There is plenty of street parking.) We will be pleased to show you around our small library, but more so our AIM History Exhibit, where we have documented in words and photos our history from the beginning in 1941 to where we are now. We also have a display showing the "Evolution of the AIM Library" which was established at AIM's commencement in 1941. Of course, after digesting all this history, you will need sustenance – we will provide!
