Monash University Library aims to transform scholarship and inspire our users to equip themselves to change the world through their work, learning and research. The Library provides environments, programs, services and resources to enable our researchers and students to find, analyse, use, manage, communicate and create new knowledge to meet contemporary challenges. Our community is centred on the University’s more than 8,000 staff and 73,000 students, located on our campuses within Victoria and across the globe.
Monash University Library is one of Australia's leading academic libraries, with a reputation for technological innovation and a track record of collaboration and leadership in research and learning and scholarly communication. The Library comprises six branch libraries in Victoria with partner libraries in Malaysia and South Africa. Reflecting the faculties present on that campus, Caulfield Library has collection strengths in art, design and architecture, arts, business and economics, information technology, health sciences, psychology and social work. In addition to its 3.1 million physical items, 300,000 of which are located at Caulfield Library, including an Artist Book collection, the Library provides more than 1.1 million electronic resources to Monash University staff and students to use anywhere, anytime.
