Lyndall Ley Grant announced for Information Online 2019

The Australian Library and Information Association is pleased to announce that a grant will be awarded this year to enable an Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander person working in a library or information role to attend the ALIA Information Online 2019 Conference. This has been made possible by a generous contribution from Lyndall Ley, ALIA President.

The aim of the grant is to enable someone who has not been able to attend many events in the past to experience the professional development and networking opportunities of a major conference.

The grant will provide the recipient with one full conference registration to attend the ALIA Information Online Conference to be held 11 February 2019 to 15 February 2019 in Sydney, NSW. All travel, accommodation and personal costs are the responsibility of the grant recipient.

To apply, tell us how attending the conference will enhance your career development along with a letter from your employer supporting your application for the grant.

Submit by sending your application to events@alia.org.au. Please include your name, contact information and address the above selection criteria.

The closing date for applications is 10 December 2018.
