Library and Information Week Trivia Night


The ever successful and enjoyable ALIA Qld Trivia Night will be held again during Library and Information Week.

Where:  The Irish Club

When:  Monday 19 May 2014

Time: Trivia starts at 6:30pm [arrive from 5:30pm for meals and drinks in the Bistro, or enjoy a select menu at your table during the Trivia]


Last year’s Trivia Master returns for more fun competitions and games!

'VALA 2014 - streaming with possibilities' - Feedback Session ALIAQld

Unable to attend this year’s VALA Conference - then perhaps you would like to attend our feedback session.

Based on the success of earlier feedback sessions, this session will follow a similar format.

There will be a couple of presentations form Brisbane based speakers, as well as highlights from delegates who attended VALA.

Date: Tuesday 18th February

Where: Brisbane Square Library, Brisbane Square, George Street, Brisbane.

Time: 5:00 for a 5:30 start [finish around 7:30pm]

Law Librarians Queensland aims to:

  • Help promote and discuss issues and ideas relating to law libraries and law librarianship in Queensland.
  • To provide a network between members who work in law libraries in Queensland.
  • To provide a forum where law librarians can seek assistance with reference queries and share and disseminate information.
