The ever successful and enjoyable ALIA Qld Trivia Night will be held again during Library and Information Week.

Calling all Queensland students and new grads!
Come celebrate (or mourn?) the end of Summer and the beginning of a new semester with us at the ALIA S&NG Potluck Picnic! Mingle with friends, colleagues and fellow students and enjoy some al fresco cool drinks and picnic treats.

ALIA Information Online Keynote Speaker Liz McGettigan is coming to Brisbane for one day following the ALIA conference. At this event, she will explore library topics such as staff and public perception, technology and change, and physical and digital challenges.
The Victorian Library Technicians' Group are once again venturing interstate! In 2015 they are off to Brisbane to look behind the scenes into amazing 2 libraries.
The fee for the library tours is $15. The cost of travel, accommodation, meals, etc. is the responsibility of delegates.

The ALIA Qld Group and the ALIA Students and New Graduates Group are teaming up to bring you a night of fun and relaxation to mark the end of a very busy 2014.
The Queensland Summer Social is your chance to catch up with old library friends, meet new library friends, and generally have a laid back evening in true Queensland style.
The fun starts at 5:30pm with some activities to get us all in a chilled mood.
Canapes will be provided, with drinks available for purchase at the bar.
