This ​afternoon ​seminar ​is ​for ​primary ​and ​secondary ​teacher ​librarians ​and ​others ​who ​are ​responsible ​for ​school ​library ​services ​and/or ​engaging ​students ​in ​reading ​and ​developing ​a ​love ​of ​literature. ​Author/Illustrator ​Graeme ​Base ​will ​talk ​about ​his ​process ​in ​developing ​his ​books ​which ​will ​include ​an ​opportunity ​for ​signing. ​In ​addition ​there ​will ​also ​be ​a ​discussion ​about

ALIA Schools - Be the change: Promoting cultural change in your library

This ​morning ​seminar ​is ​for ​primary ​and ​secondary ​teacher ​librarians ​and ​others ​who ​are ​responsible ​for ​school ​library ​services. ​Continual ​improvement ​is ​at ​the ​heart ​of ​how ​schools ​operate ​today. ​Identifying ​how ​school ​libraries ​can ​establish ​a ​cycle ​of ​continual ​improvement ​will ​be ​explored. ​Sessions ​will ​include ​keynote ​addresses, ​panel ​session ​and ​workshop.
