BIONICLE®
TranslatorUpgraded to Version 1.1. Changes:
The symbols are arrange geometrically, not alphabetically. The reason for this is that if you knew where in the alphabet the symbol came then you wouldn't need to use this program! If you don't know what a symbol is then it is easy to find it based on its shape.
You can use the 'Swap Font' button to toggle the font in the big text box from the BIONICLE to the normal font Tahoma.
To use the program simply download it, unzip it, and run the installer. It is available in two versions, one (small) that includes just the program and the setup program, the other includes all the Visual Basic 5.0 runtimes. It is unlikely that you will need to download the big version, so I suggest trying the small one first, and if it doesn't work then try the big one. Most computers have the Visual Basic 5.0 runtimes on them.
It should work on Windows 95, 98, ME, 2000, NT and XP, though I have not tested it on all platforms.
Download small version (265 KB)
Download big version (1.5 MB)
You will need the Mata-Nui font from Mask of Destiny.
Work on the program had started (and indeed almost finished) before the on-line BZ-Power BIONICLE translator web page was made. We did not steal their idea, in case you were wondering.
The program was designed by Michael, Daniel and Graham Okely and programmed in Visual Basic 5.0 by Daniel Okely. The artwork was made by Michael Okely (aka Huki365).
If you have any suggestion, comments, feature requests or bug reports, please email Daniel Okely.
