Katherine Session
Katherine is an Assistant Manager in the International Strategy and Futures at eSafety Commissioner. Katherine works with social media platforms and industry in leading eSafety’s Safety by Design initiative. Katherine has worked on many Australian regulatory reviews and reforms related to digital technologies, media reform and online safety. While at the ACMA, Katherine worked across teams to develop and implement regulatory reforms for online content, including streaming services and apps, industry code developments and with the Interactive Gambling Taskforce. Katherine was also a secondee on the ACCC’s Digital Platforms Inquiry. Before public service life, Katherine worked in private practice as a Telecommunications, Media and Technology lawyer.
