Special Libraries Directory - 5th edition with over 200 entries now available

ALIA’s Special Libraries Working Group has updated its directory of special libraries and it is now available to view online.

Whilst the directory is not a comprehensive listing, it does identify like-minded individuals working in similar professional contexts and enables them to share information, insight, expertise, ideas and resources.

This latest edition has grown to over 200 entries with representation from a range of fields and sectors including government (federal, state and local), health, arts and culture, education, emergency services, heritage, knowledge services, and the law.

The guide is a valuable resource designed to improve the sense of connectedness in a sector with many one-person libraries, and to strengthen special libraries’ advocacy network. The directory will be updated as new information is received and we welcome further additions.
