ALIA's industrial services program is available free of charge to all ALIA members. Problems at work? covers all matters connected to or arising from the employment contract including information on employment term and conditions of employment, interpretation of and help with labour law, advice on how members can improve their own situation at work and provision of direct support when difficulties are encountered.

Perhaps you might wish to consider enrolling in one of the many ALIA-accredited courses in library and information studies? Library and information sector courses to be accredited are assessed against the criteria set out in the Association's education policy statements and the course accreditation procedure. Or try some ALIA Training, PD courses addressing the needs of our sector.
