NSW LIbrary Technicians tour of Canberra Libraries

The ALIA NSW Library Technicians Group invites interested people for a tour of some of Canberra’s libraries on Saturday, 9th of May, 2015.

To celebrate 100 years of ANZAC tradition and sacrifice, we will be visiting the Research Library at the Australian War Memorial plus a tour of the Australian National University Library and the National Library of Australia.

The program as follows:-

10.00am - National Library of Australia, Parkes Place, Canberra

1.00pm - Australian National University Library, Fellows Road, Acton

3.00pm - Australian War Memorial, Treloar Crescent, Campbell  (including the Last Post service at 4.55pm)

8.00pm – Home

We will be having brunch at the Museum Café at the National Museum of Australia (Lawson Crescent, Action Peninsula, Canberra) with our fellow ACT colleagues. If you are in Canberra, please join us.

We’ll be having a car pool for the trip to Canberra. If you are interested, please let Matthew Griffiths (griffo1974@optusnet.com.au) know so that we can arrange with the drivers as we will need to leave between 6-6.30am.
