Please join ALIAVic for a day trip to the lovely Mornington Peninsula, on Saturday February 23rd, 2019.
- We will meet up at Mornington Library for a guided tour of the building
- Enjoy a private guided tour of the Mornington & District Historical Society's Old Post Office Museum, which hosts a collection of mermorabilia and historical objects from the peninsula area
- Lunch at one of the many fabulous eateries on Main Street, or the Esplanade. Fish and chips on the beach, anyone?
- In the afternoon, we will finish up with a guided tour of Mulberry Hill, a National Trust-run historical homestead and gardens previously owned by Sir Daryl and Lady Joan Lindsay, which displays a collection of Australian artworks and antique ceramics, glassware, and furniture.
$20 per person to cover hire of a community bus and entry to guided tours. Lunch at own cost.
