ALIA partners with Booktopia to fundraise for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation

The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) has partnered with Booktopia so that for the month of May 5% of any sale purchased through the Booktopia link on the ALIA website, will be donated to the Indigenous Literacy Foundation. This fundraising takes places as part of ALIA’s Library and Information Week, running 20–26 May 2019.

ALIA and Booktopia ran a similar campaign in 2018 and raised $1,000 for the Indigenous Literacy Foundation.

ALIA CEO Sue McKerracher said, “Libraries are great supporters of the Indigenous Literacy Foundation and we hope to exceed last year’s donation. Booktopia has a tempting range of titles and we’re confident our Members will want to add to their personal and institutional collections.”

You can purchase your books through the ALIA website.
