ALIA invests in special library advocacy in 2019

The Australian Library and Information Association (ALIA) is pleased to provide an update on advocacy for special libraries in Australia, through the work of ALIA’s Special Library Working Group and interested Members.

A new version of the Guidelines for Australian Special Libraries has been endorsed by the ALIA Board and is now available online. These changes were made after extensive consultation with special libraries professionals.

Additionally, the May/June issue of INCITE, the first digital online issue of the year, included a supplement on special libraries which can be read free online. Lastly, library and information professionals can attend the upcoming CSIRO Black Mountain tour and advocacy workshop on 16 July 2019.
