An Open Letter to TPP Negotiators: Copyright term extension makes no sense

ALIA has joined over 35 organisations from around the world urging negotiators of the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) to rescind a proposal to extend copyright terms by another 20 years beyond the current mandatory term.

The letter was released this week as 12 countries are meeting in Ottawa, Canada to continue secret negotiations of the TPP trade agreement. You can find more information on the Creative Commons website
