ALIA Vic Lib Techs Adelaide Libraries visit

Come along and join the Vic LTs on tour in Adelaide. The itinerary includes visists to one of the oldest libraries in Adelaide and the newest in Rundle Mall. Everyone is welcome - interstate tourists and locals too. RSVP essential. Cost of travel, accomodation, meals etc. is at delegates own expense. 

The closing date for registrations is the 16th of Februrary 2014 so get in quickly!

ALIA’s annual National Advisory Congresses’ are held in each state and territory in order to provide ample opportunity for members to participate in discussion on policy, planning and topical issues relevant to the Association.

This year, it is more important than ever before for ALIA Members to take part because we will be discussing what the future of the profession will be.

In 2012 Research Libraries UK (RLUK) released a comprehensive report in to the role and skills of subject and liaison librarians required to effectively support the evolving information needs of researchers.
