See behind the scenes at SAMHRI (South Australian Medical & Health Research Institute)

The event will be held on Friday 20 June 3.30pm-4.30pm. 

Tour highlights include views of SAHMRI's state of the art laboratories, open plan floors, atrium cafe, plaza area and spiral staircase. There will also be an opportunity to hear directly from one of their leading researchers. 

Please note: Places are limited to 20 participants.

ALIA SA Specials

The ALIA Specials SA Group provides professional development and networking opportunities to professionals and students in special libraries in South Australia. It fosters the exchange of ideas among special libraries, and with those working in allied professional fields of information services, knowledge management, indexing, records management and archives. It is also committed to advocacy on behalf of its members.

ALIA Vic Lib Techs Adelaide Libraries visit

Come along and join the Vic LTs on tour in Adelaide. The itinerary includes visists to one of the oldest libraries in Adelaide and the newest in Rundle Mall. Everyone is welcome - interstate tourists and locals too. RSVP essential. Cost of travel, accomodation, meals etc. is at delegates own expense. 

The closing date for registrations is the 16th of Februrary 2014 so get in quickly!

ALIA’s annual National Advisory Congresses’ are held in each state and territory in order to provide ample opportunity for members to participate in discussion on policy, planning and topical issues relevant to the Association.
