Come and join Students & New Grads, ALIA SA for drinks after the ALIA National Conference welcome reception on Tuesday 30th August!


We will be at Bibliotheca Book Bar and Exchange from 7pm, so head down for meet-ups, catch-ups, tweet-ups and conference talk (it’s just a short walk from the Convention Centre).


Everyone is welcome (you don’t have to have attended the conference to come along) and we would love to see you all there!   


No need to RSVP. 


ALIA SA July Meeting at ALS Library Services

ALIA SA will be holding their regular monthly meeting at ALS Library Services. ALS provides a professional acquisitions service for print books, ebooks, audio and A/V for Australian libraries.

Things will kick off with a tour, followed by refreshments and networking. Anyone keen to stay on afterwards for the ALIA SA meeting is welcome.


When: July 21st at 6.00pm

Where: ALS Library Services, 12-14 Tooronga Avenue, Edwardstown

Cost: $5 ALIA members, $10 non-members

Library celebrations at the pub!

Lauren Stratton, library technician-extraordinaire and ALIA SA Group member, won the 2015 ALIA Student Award and to celebrate we’re heading to the pub this Thursday to say congratulations!

The award ceremony and drinks will be held during the ALIA SA Group meeting. Everyone is welcome! This is a great chance for you to see what the ALIA SA Group is up to, ask questions and contribute those great GLAMR ideas you’ve been having.
