To complete ‘Register Someone Else’ or ‘Register multiple contacts’ all registrants need to be included in your Institution Staff List, which can be found in your Institution Member Centre. Please refer to the Institution Handbook (available in Member Resource) for instructions on how to access your Institution Staff List (page 4) and add staff members (page 8).

Please note any recently added Institution Staff contacts can take up to 1 hour to be marked as an Institution Staff and receive member pricing. Please wait up to 1 hour before completing registrations for newly added staff.

ALIA Island: Cascades Female Factory Tour

A tour of the Cascades Female Factory Historic Site.

Event Description

Join ALIA Island for the "Notorious Strumpets and Dangerous Girls" tour this August. This in-person 60 minute storytelling experience takes visitors on an emotional journey through the stories of seven remarkable convict women who faced life’s hardships with resilience. The tour will start promptly at 11.30am, and conclude at 12:30pm. You are also welcome to join us after the tour for lunch at the Cascade Brewery Bar.
 
The tour is largely outdoors. Wear comfortable shoes, dress like a Tasmanian, and be prepared for rain. Additional details, including accessibility information, can be found here: https://femalefactory.org.au/visit/accessibility/
